This metal notebook was the second, more polished take on my extra-secure notebook design. The particular build here was absentmindedly promised to my little sister six months prior, and I'm a little jealous because it came out great! It's made out of 1/8" aluminium sheeting, standard woodworking hinges, and a very lucky aesthetic match of a lock.

By far the hardest part was cutting the aluminum with a hacksaw in a straight line. The rest of my build process was also 100% hand tools, which was definitely a bit of a grind. I do, however, feel all the effort made the final product a lot more special, cheesy as that is.
