Originally started by my sister, this project sat idle for a couple years until I was cleaning up and decided that it had to be finished. I used a handheld elecric planer and belt sander to flatten and smooth the surfaces, and then added a bunch of layers of polyurethane to finish everything off. The pin legs were a good choice, being subtle enough as to give the wood an almost levitating feel. Overall, a great finished product that would do perfectly as a small side table or plant holder.
